Welcome

My name is Jason Ralston, and this is my portfolio. I'm currently a photography major at Daytona State College. I work primarily in the studio, though location photography is always an adventure that I enjoy. My interests right now are in documentary and studio potraiture. I majored in Digital Media at the Advanced Technology Center for two years while at Flagler Palm Coast High School. Along with photography I create Yellowbook advertisements, logos, and business cards for work. I am published around the world, including Russian and German corporate websites. My work has been featured on the homepage of Mytopiacafe.com, Eroticana.com, and BlueCanvas.com. I have been contracted to make a documentary of the Super Bowl in Detroit in which I ended up filming, and directed myself. I have also helped produce a documentary piece on the teenagers of Pittsburgh, which was widely distributed to help fund schooling programs in the city; I also filmed and put together the direction of the film. Both video and still is the same to me, each has a 4 corner frame in which you have to do your best. Thus, I find interest in both.
